The Michigan Plastination Laboratory, Inc. provides plastinated anatomical teaching aids to universities all over the world. From procuring the tissue used for our plastinated anatomical teaching aids, to providing medical schools with our plastination services, we are ready to take on any plastination project you have.

The study of human anatomy has long been and continues to be essential for training future doctors, nurses, dentists and other medical professionals. At MI Plastination Lab we do not sell human tissue, however upon requesting any plastinated anatomical teaching aids from us, and should we approve of that request, then the specimens will be donated to that medical institute for the cost of plastinating/preserving the specimens. It will be the medical institute’s right to keep the specimens indefinitely, but should the medical facility no longer wish to keep the plastinated specimens, then they must be returned to our laboratory for cremation.

The Michigan Plastination Laboratory, Inc. was recently launched in 2019. Even though we are a brand new company, our team has over 30 years of plastination experience. The plastination process that we use was developed by Dow Corning of Midland, Michigan in the United States. Our specimens are made to be handled by the classroom and are toxic-free, odorless and will last for many years. We are on the cutting edge of medical science in the field of providing permanently preserved teaching aids to medical schools for their students to study and learn from.

Our specimens come from willed body donor programs in the United States of America. Donors donate their generous gift to the medical field for the sole purpose of helping educate our future generation of doctors and medical personnel. All donors used for our plastinated anatomical teaching aids are numbered so that they can be traced at any time. Both the donor program and MI Plastination Lab keep files on the donors. The Michigan Plastination Laboratory, Inc. goes to great lengths to ensure our customers receive the best medical teaching aids in the world. With our state-of-the-art laboratory and our innovative plastination process proves no university is too big or too small to take advantage of our plastination services.
